where the wild things are

I loved the book as a kid, and when I heard it was being adapted for a movie, I was scared. But when I saw the preview, I knew, just knew, that I was going to love it. Spike Jones, Arcade Fire, the images, the costumes, the font. That font! The letters with fur and feet and teeth!

And now I've tracked it down. It's done by a guy named Geoff Mcfetridge, and dammit if his other work isn't also amazing. Enjoy!

Flauntin' the Fonts

I found out about this clever site in class. It doesn't work for the new, hip fonts that you find online and can download for free or whatever, but the classic ones are here and I think it works fairly well.
Enjoy!
